The Annual General Meeting for Centre for Inquiry Canada will be held virtually on Sunday, March 10, 2024 at 3 pm Eastern Daylight Time. Please register in advance in order to receive meeting materials and a link to join.
This year’s keynote speaker will be Leslie Rosenblood, CFIC Board Member and Secular Chair. Leslie will share what he has learned from two years of hosting Podcast for Inquiry.
The meeting agenda will also include committee and financial reports, and an opportunity for Q & A with our members.
This is your opportunity to get more involved with CFIC. We are in need of council and board members. Council members are the voting members of CFIC. Council members elect the board and vote on special motions such as changing the by-laws and direction of the organization. If you would like to be involved as a council member please complete the council member application.
Many thanks to CFIC’s treasurer, Sonya Jenkins, who has completed her term as a director and will be stepping down. CFIC is recruiting a new treasurer. To fill this role, we need someone with knowledge of organization finance, including reading and interpreting financial statements, assisting with the development of a budget which supports the organization’s strategic plan and collaborating on the completion of an annual financial review.
