[The following is a letter from the cofounders of TalentLift.]
We are very pleased to provide you with an update on our fundraising campaign for the talented atheist musician who TalentLift is supporting through a Canadian immigration entrepreneur visa process. Through the remarkable generosity of CFI members, we met our fundraising target of $10,000 in just 10 days!
These funds are fundamental to demonstrating the family’s ability to establish on arrival in Canada as part of the visa application. The entire amount will be disbursed to the family on their arrival and will be a vital source of funds to start their new lives.
The musician and his family are overwhelmed by the generosity of the CFI network and look forward to providing a personalized letter of thanks and sharing more of their story once it is safe for them to do so. In the meantime, the musician has asked us to pass on his sincere gratitude for bringing him and his family one step closer to their dream of starting a music school in Canada, living a life without fear or hiding, and leaving refugee circumstances behind.
We are deeply grateful for your support of this family. We look forward to updating you further once they have safely arrived in Canada.
Gratefully,
Dana Wagner and Veronica Wilson
