Volunteer Opportunity: Communications Committee Secretary

Location: Anywhere in Canada

Are you an organized person who is passionate about effective communications? Do you want to work as part of a team, meet interesting freethinkers from across Canada, and help to share reliable information about science, secularism, and critical thinking? 

If so, please consider volunteering as CFIC’s Communications Committee Secretary.

The role:

• Attend monthly meetings (1 to 1.5 hours) of the communications committee (third Sunday of each month at 10am EST)
• Participate in discussions about how to promote CFIC and its mandate (critical thinking, science, and secularism), through traditional and social media, the website, merchandise, and other means
• Record and distribute meeting minutes
• Develop meeting agendas in consultation with the committee chair
