Okanagan – Splendours of the Universe

This is not a CFI Okanagan event, but may be of interest to the CFI Okanagan community. We have collaborated with the Okanagan Centre chapter of the Royal Astronomical Society a number of times. It is a great organization; do support them if you can.

The Okanagan Observatory is pleased to announce that world renowned astro-photographer Jack Newton will be speaking at its Annual Dinner, Sat, May 24. His topic is ‘Splendours of the Universe’.

The dinner will be held at the Kelowna Curling Club. Doors and Bar open at 5 pm, the dinner is at 6:30 pm and Mr. Newton talks at 7:30 pm. A Silent Auction will also be held.
