CFI Ottawa started in 2009; today we have about 100 regular members, and over 1000 who are part of the CFI Ottawa meetup group.
Our events include:
- pub talks on philosophy, science, secularism, skepticism, and various other interesting topics
- weekly Living without Religion support group
- weekly Secular Chat (informal discussion in a pub)
- social events every few months
- featured guest speakers (past speakers include James Randi, Chris DiCarlo, Jerry Coyne)
All of our events are listed on Meetup. Most events are open to the public; discounts are offered to Friends of the Centre for Inquiry (join here).
