We are very pleased to be able to share some good news with you this month! Omer had his interview with Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada on November 28. And has officially been approved! This is what we have all been waiting for. It is one of the final steps before he comes to Canada. Next is biometric testing, which are background checks to determine that he has not been involved in any criminal activities, which he assures me will not be an issue.
The financial support of CFIC subscribers has allowed Omer to survive his wait in Nepal. But more importantly, it has buoyed his spirits and provided the warmest possible pre-welcome to Canada. The exact timing of his arrival remains a mystery, but one that should unfold quickly.
