Omer continues to wait in Nepal. Physically he is well. But increasingly, he is finding the days to be stressful. The uncertainty has gone on for a very long time and now he is anxious (as we all are) to have news that something positive is happening with his case.
Along with his group-of-five sponsors in Calgary, he emailed the visa office in Delhi to ask about the status of his application. He has also filed an access-to-information request to the Global Case Management System (GCMS) to receive notes about his application. We hope to have news from the visa office for our January edition of Critical Links and the GCMS information in February.
