A talk by Dr. Rennie Warburton. “Political correctness” is a cynical rhetorical term used by conservative opponents of well-meaning efforts to bring about social justice. I then discuss issues around freedom of speech which has been cited as protecting those who use potentially harmful language to describe and degrade subordinated minorities.
