Small teams of 2-3 people counter-protested the anti-choicers using signs, flags, banners, costumes, bubbles, pot-banging, vuvuzelas, drums and other visual, auditory, and psychological distractors for 1.5 hours on a Sunday afternoon. CFIC Ottawa supported our local Abortion rights Defense Group against religious picketers.
Ottawa Pride 2019
CFIC Ottawa presented a screening of the documentary film “Losing Our Religion” which follows the lives and careers of clergy members who have come to lose their faith, exploring how they came to these conclusions.
