Institute of Holistic Nutrition
A CFIC member has advised us of submitting a complaint to Ontario’s Minister of Training, Colleges and Universities regarding the Institute of Holistic Nutrition. This organization has locations in Ontario and British Columbia – and carries registration with BC’s PCTIA. IHN charges $6,690 in Ontario and states on their website that:
IHN’s Diploma in Applied Holistic Nutrition is recognized and approved by the Certified Nutritional Practitioners Council of Canada (CNPCC) and The International Organization of Nutritional Consultants (IONC). The designation CNP is earned exclusively by graduates of IHN. Upon graduation, application for registration will be provided for submission to CNPCC & IONC. The designation RNCP/ROHP is governed by the IONC and graduates of IHN are fully qualified, with no further examinations, to receive the RNCP/ROHP designation.
