Each year, hundreds of Ontario students (from publicly funded Catholic schools) are bused to Ottawa to attend the anti-choice “March for Life” rally (which is held during school hours).
A pro-choice rally, organized by Planned Parenthood Ottawa as a counter protest, was held on May 12, 2022, near the Terry Fox statue across from Parliament Hill. Members of CFIC Ottawa and Humanist Ottawa attended the event and then joined two hundred pro-choice supporters across the street on Parliament Hill.
