Mother Teresa: The Untold Story

Posted on September 30, 2021October 1, 2021 By Critical Links 3 Comments on Mother Teresa: The Untold Story

The popular tendency is to deify myths, gurus, and personalities without investigating the claims thoroughly. Mother Teresa is one deified name. Does Mother Teresa deserve her reputation as the most charitable person who ever lived? This book makes for a gripping but disconcerting read.

Our speaker is Dr. Aroup Chatterjee, who was born and brought up in Calcutta, India, in a non- religious family. He is almost 62 and works as a doctor, mainly in the UK. Atheism was the default position in his household but he was not a campaigning atheist. But regarding Mother Teresa, he has been campaigning on this issue for three decades. He is also deeply committed to helping people all around the world to be free from religion.

This is a free event. It will be held on Wednesday, October 13, 2021, 9 pm EST. Zoom registration is required.

I suggest people read Cristopher Hitchen’s “The missionary position”. Very informative.
