Cortney Baldwin is a settler and is a grateful visitor on traditional Lekwungen and W̱SÁNEĆ lands. In 2020 she completed a Masters of Education at the University of Victoria where she studied and developed Canadian specific decolonizing programs and workshops. Currently Cortney is working on an international program aimed at wrestling with the truth of colonization, and is passionate about helping others learn about decolonization and how to be Agents of Change.
Courageous Conversations: Talking About Decolonization is a program with both a presentation and question period. The presentation portion is designed to answer the questions below:
- How do I decolonize?
- How can I have meaningful conversations with people who do not share my views?
- How do I explain decolonization in a way that my friends and family can understand?
