Canadian society is aging, and the number of seniors and retirees continues to grow. Aging is often accompanied by physical and cognitive challenges, reduced independence, and, too often, social marginalization and undervaluation.
In our next Town Hall Zoom meeting, we will explore what “Aging Well” means—or should mean—what individuals can do to support healthy aging, and what responsibilities society holds. Are retirement homes the best solution for an aging population? Are there more inclusive, socially integrated models? What other approaches to senior care should we consider?

We will provide a background document to introduce the topic and will also include some questions, available for download from the CFIC website, a week ahead of the Town Hall meeting.
