Both Omer and CFIC are wishing that we had more to share. Omer is continuing to wait. Thanks to the generosity of CFIC’s Assistance for Apostates donors, we were able to increase Omer’s monthly allowance from $600 to $700. This helps him with managing the same inflationary pressures that we are all experiencing and allows him to purchase better food to improve his health. As always, Omer is grateful to the people who have literally kept him alive for these very long years. We all remain hopeful that the call will come to let us know that the day has finally arrived when Omer will be able to come to Canada.
In the meantime, we work together to keep his spirits up.
