While we are heating things up, let’s award a Scammie for climate change denialists:
In late September, a group of 500 “prominent scientists and professionals” sent a letter to the UN Secretary-General declaring that there is no climate emergency .
Subsequent analysis found these claims to be “biased, cherry-picking, inaccurate, misleading.” (Also worth noting that just a tiny minority (10 signatories) of the 500 listed are actually climate scientists.)
