Both CFIC and Rocky Mountain Atheists have been working independently on promoting Critical Thinking Awareness. We believe there is strength in numbers, and have joined forces.
Now, we are working to create a collective, comprised of people from various existing groups, to join this collaboration with the goal of having Critical Thinking Awareness Day proclaimed and celebrated across Canada.
The collective will share ideas, content and marketing information to spread the word and engage the public in thinking critically. We are looking for your advice and possibly your help in making this a reality.
You will recall that this spring, CFIC launched our inaugural Critical Thinking Week(ish). We hope that this was the first, in what will become an annual event. Even more, we hope that others will add to this work. Consider joining us. There are lots of options for ways to get involved, some requiring relatively little time.
If we are to gain ground on Critical Thinking, it is urgent that we magnify the message.
