Science education and storytelling: A Conversation with Sean Carroll
Sean Carroll is an evolutionary biologist and a leading figure in evolutionary development (evo devo), focusing on research into genes and their role in evolution
and diversity. He is passionate for science communication and education, and authored Remarkable Creatures: Epic Adventures in the Search for the Origins of Species, The Making of the Fittest and Endless Forms Most Beautiful: The New Science of Evo Devo.
In this talk Professor Carroll discusses the role of storytelling in communicating scientific exploration and discoveries, and how they have effected our understanding of ourselves and our relationship to the natural world.
