Fall tends to be workplace giving time. Many workplaces participate in a United Way campaign or otherwise encourage employees to donate to charities. Philanthropy such as this drives Canada’s charitable sector and is CFIC’s sole source of income.
If your workplace campaign supports the United Way, you can direct your donation to their charities or you can choose the charity or charities most important to you. If CFIC is your favourite charity, perhaps you would consider directing your United Way donation to us?
Did you know that many workplaces match their employees’ donations? If you are already donating to CFIC, please ask your workplace whether they have a matching program. If so, ask them to match your donation to us.
