We have collaborated with the Okanagan Centre chapter of the Royal Astronomical Society a number of times. It is a great organization; do support them if you can. \n*******\nThe Okanagan Observatory is pleased to announce that world renowned astro-photographer Jack Newton will be speaking at its Annual Dinner\, Sat\, May 24. His topic is ‘Splendours of the Universe’. \nThe dinner will be held at the Kelowna Curling Club. Doors and Bar open at 5 pm\, the dinner is at 6:30 pm and Mr. Newton talks at 7:30 pm.
