SUMMARY:CFIC T.O. Counter Apologetics Group
DESCRIPTION:Counter-apologetics is a field of thought that criticizes religious apologetics. Luke Muehlhauser\, the former executive director of the Machine Intelligence Research Institute\, defines counter-apologetics as “a response to Christian apologetics…examining the claims and tactics of Christian apologists and then equipping [a thinker] with skeptical responses to them”.\n\nJoin your host and CFI Canada member Lee Shields (a former Jehovah’s Witness) for a fun and entertaining evening.\n \nAll are welcome. We have been lucky to have both Richard Carrier and Aron Ra attend these sessions.\n \n\n \nA $5 donation to CFI Canada is appreciated. There will be refreshments available and a draw for the door prize of a CFI Canada cap or t-shirt.
