DESCRIPTION:Wanda is the CEO of Dying With Dignity Canada and she will give a tailor-made talk for our CFI Canada community. Wanda will explain why those in the Atheist/secular/humanist movement should be particularly concerned about right-to-die issues. \nHer talk will cover the facts on physician assisted dying as a safe\, compassionate choice for Canadians facing unbearable suffering; the historic Supreme Court ruling in Carter v. Canada; and the Voice Your Choice Campaign which gives the tools you need to speak out for lasting change so that small but noisy “special interest” groups won’t curtail your rights. \nLet’s stand with the 84 per cent of Canadians who support compassion and choice at end of life. \nFREE for CFIC members (please bring your card) \n$5 for non-members (payment at the door) \n
