SUMMARY:"Brain\, Self\, and Society"\, a talk by Dr. Naj Mahani
DESCRIPTION:“Neurotalk” is becoming a staple of our popular culture. TV Series\, Sitcoms\, Movies\, Newspapers\, even president Obama are now talking about the brain! \nNeuroscience discoveries\, popping on media frequently\, stir hopes in those of us hit by neurological illness\, and anxieties for those of us who fear to be hit by them: Alzheimers\, Autism\, Depression anyone? \nWe are curious to ponder what these new science discoveries mean to us; and how they will change the ways in which we see ourselves\, others and the legal and ethical fabrics of the society. \nJoin us for what is shaping to be a fascinating talk by Dr. Naj Mahani.
