Critical Links’ Submission Policy & Guidelines
- Unsolicited articles may be accepted, but we strongly encourage writers to check in with us with their topic before they begin writing. CFIC does not guarantee publication of articles that are submitted.
- All statements of fact must be supported by a reference which may be provided using a hyperlink or an academic referencing format. Hyperlink is preferred.
- Referenced media sources must be checked on Media-Bias Fact-Check and fall between centre left and centre right (questionable sources cannot be used)
- Journals must be checked for legitimacy. Please see Research Before You Research for information about how to identify a predatory journal
- We reserve the right to edit for format, length, topic, or any other reason. We do not guarantee that changes will be shared with the author prior to printing, although we try to do so.
- If the article is substantially changed, we will check in with the author to confirm they wish to be listed as an author. We may jointly attribute the article to the original author and to the additional contributor. If the original author doesn’t want to be listed as an author, we retain the right to use the reworked document in its entirety.
